About Us:

1. Constitution

Spain Film Commission is an association formed in Madrid on March 26, 2001 at the ICAA (Spanish Film Institute) headquarters. We are a registered association of the Ministry of Interior with the number 168752. 1st sec.

2. Object and purpose.

The association has as its fundamental purposes and objectives:

a) Establishing common criteria and concerted action lines of different "Film Commission" and “Film Office”, with this or any other similar designation, that operates or to operate in the future in different autonomic communities, regions, districts, provinces or cities in Spain.

b) Processing, seek and receive financial aid, grants and / or activated bonuses by different government, whether local, regional, national or European, for the promotion and development of the productive filming sector, audiovisual and multimedia.

c) Integral action for the promotion of the values and cultural heritage, and promoting the territory as a staging area suitable for shooting and production of all types of films and audiovisual.
By “territory”, and considering the provisions of Art. 1 of our official Regulation means the resulting from the sum of all geographical areas of operation of the "Film Commission" and “Film Office”, whose representatives are part of the association "Spain Film Commission."

d) Coordinate, cooperate and collaborate in the action carried out by each of the "Film Commission" and “Film Office”, in the effective provision of various services such as professional support, logistic, administrative, managerial, business, etc.. and supply of goods to companies producing and / or auxiliary enterprises of any legal nature that are part of the audiovisual sector, understood in a broad sense, operating in the geographic scope of this partnership.

e) Profitability and optimization of assets and material resources, economic and human of the "Film Commission" and “Film Office”, whose representatives are part of this partnership.

f) Participation of the association as autonomous agent in discussion boards, commissions’ policy analysis, advice regulators such as administrative, representative institutions, public bodies’ decision, and so on related to the production, distribution and / or marketing of films and audiovisual.

Also, this partnership will target the future constitution of a lawful Federation bringing together each of the entities, agencies, foundations or companies, whether publicly owned, private or mixed, with legal personality to prove to be ultimately responsible each one of the "Film Commissions" and “Film Office” established or acting on Spanish territory. The Federation also will be integrated with the association of Spanish Film Commissioners "SPAIN FILM COMMISSION."
